I recently updated the operating system on my Droid X to the new Gingerbread, Android 2.3. They’ve added options to many areas of the OS like the navigation bar, menu, and apps page. The speed is supposed to be improved but I haven’t seen much. It still gets bogged down at times, but I think it may be improved a bit. Overall it’s a nice upgrade. When they find a way to improve battery life on the Droid X, it will make using it a joy.
