When I was there 2 years ago, they said she was 112 years old. That would make her 114 now. She appeared to be in good shape and helped with cooking and laundry. She even rode on the back of the motorcycle to get around. I’ve entered he in the Guiness book of World Records to see if they can help verify her age and possibly crown her the oldest woman in the world.

I was hoping to find out some information about travelers checks, as ours had mysteriously disappeared sometime between our time in Jakarta and our first day in Indramayu. It was another in a growing list of hair pulling frustrations for me. I was worried about our money situation and the checks were gone. I was hoping to use them to help pay of the airplane tickets if we could manage to not use them while we were there. I’ll tell the rest of this story later.
