This was a nice pit stop on our days activities in Bayville and Oyster Bay. The waterways were packed with partyers and the smell of barbecue permeated the air. The Charles E. Ransom Beach and playground is located in Bayville Road just as it sweeps to the East running parallel to the Long Island Sound. The main reason to come here is to get wet and enjoy some fun in the sun. The playground might be a nice choice for kids later on in the day but during a hot day you could fry an egg on it.
