I got my Droid X Froyo 2.2 release downloaded and installed.  Not long after I was typing something and it froze, requiring a battery pull restart.  Not a promi9sing beginning, but has been fine since then.  Will comment more as things progress.

From various sources, it looks as if Droid X users will get the much anticipated Froyo operating system update.  While looking forward to it, I don’t want it to break any of my apps or games (especially ones that I purchased).  My luck with WordPress, another frequently updated program, has been less than stellar.

I recently had a problem trying to configure my outgoing mail on my Droid X.  All of the mail was going to the outbox where it could only be deleted.  I had inadvertently used the wrong type of account setup under my accounts.  I had success by going to my account<add account<google.  Previously I had used the my account<add account<email.  It’s all configured and working.  Best Buy and Verizon couldn’t figure...

Sometimes picking the right theme is hard to do. I’ve found myself being torn by aesthetics and functionality. I prefer not only a home run, but a grand slam so perhaps I’m setting myself up for disaster. I’ll be changing the looks of the site a lot in the next days, hopefully I’ll find the right one.
