The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce (HTCC) held their 2009 Luau on July 16th at Crab Meadow beach. It was a ripping good time for all chamber members and friends that made it. Also, a big thanks to the HTCC staff for putting on such a nice event.

On personal note, I’d like to say hello to all of the people I met there. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and I look forward to seeing you at future events. I took many photos and it is likely you might be in them. The thumbnails below crop the pictures a bit so make sure to click on them to see them with the correct proportions. It was also very nice and unexpected surprise, meeting face to face some customers of our family home heating business, Zadrozny Fuel.

If anyone would like larger versions of any of the photos for this event, without watermarks, you can contact me and I’ll email them to you. I took all of the photos with my somewhat new Nikon D90.

The sponsors for the event were all terrific, although I was a bit disappointed that the Samuel Adams booth ran out of beer fairly early. Being a fan of beer and Samuel Adams in particular, I had been hoping to try as many different types of their brew as I could. They brought some decent bottle opener key chains which were nice.

As you can tell by the various photos of the Outback and their grilling station, I really enjoyed their food. The steaks were great and the ribs just fell of the bone. The Caesar salad and chicken were also exemplary. Thanks to them and their staff for making such great grub for everyone.

Feel free to leave any comments or stories about the event below. I look forward to hearing how everyone else enjoyed it too.
