I’ve been having problems with Google Places. The problems stems, I believe, because there are two business addresses at the same location. One of the two accounts was always suspended and after reviewing them to make sure they were accurate and resubmitting them, they wouldn’t get resolved. Of course, there was no option to speak with anyone about my problem.
I decided to eliminate the smaller of the two businesses. When I did, it asked me if I wanted to delete the info from my account or Google places entirely. I chose my account, and within 1 minute there was a phone call from a man saying he was with Google and wanted to verify the address. He had an Indian accent, and I initially though he was with one of those relentless companies that cold call all the time and try to sell you advertising on their websites. If I hadn’t just altered the info, I would have hung up on him.
I told him the situation, and he seemed shocked a bit but said he would look into it. I’ll know soon if it actually made any difference. What I got out of this is that I may have found a way to get a warm body on the phone regarding issues like this.

Any update on what happened with this?
No, but the the site i kept on there regained it’s status and is getting impressions and actions again. This is really something Google should improve upon.
