The Charles E. Ransom Beach and playground is located in Bayville Road just as it sweeps to the East running parallel to the Long Island Sound. The main reason to come here is to get wet and enjoy some fun in the sun. The playground might be a nice choice for kids later on in the day but during a hot day you could fry an egg on it.
I saw some people fishing on the rocks to the East side of the park for those of you that might want to get your fishing gear out.
