These photos are from the 2010 Saint Patty’s Day parade in Huntington. The turnout was very weak compared to a normal year due to the continual inclement weather conditions that have plagued us here in Huntington over the weekend. The parade still went on and the participants and parade-goers were steadfast in their determination not to let the foul weather ruin their parade.
I submitted the photos to the Long Islander so there is a strong likelihood that several of them will be published with the Parade reviews in the next issue. It was nice meeting and partying with everyone I met that day. The bars I went to – Finley’s and Meehan’s – were packed and fully loaded with interesting characters. See all ya’ll next year!
