Going to Sagamore Hill proved to be a very pleasurable experience. We got to learn a lot about our 26th president (Theodore Roosevelt) and see some beautiful land in Oyster Bay. Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park is one of the nicest recreation areas we have been to so far. It is a spectacular mix of beach, park, and baseball fields. We tried our luck at fishing, although we were blanked again. The man in the picture below was nice enough to give us a piece of his sandworm for bait.
